This past September, we were thrilled to host our first annual photographer’s dinner at our Pippin Hill to thank several of our favorite photogs for capturing some of our most precious moments of 2013!
Co-owner of Pippin Hill, Lynn Easton Andrews of Easton Events created an intimate and elegant ambiance for this wonderful gathering on our Veranda terrace. From hand-made custom-designed place cards, to a special persimmon smash signature cocktail – Lynn ensured the evening was full of endless surprises and lasting celebrations. Beehive Events provided the decor and florals composed of garden roses, geranium and china berry. Our Executive Chef Amalia set the bar high and served a phenomenal three course menu including a crowd favorite, roasted New England sea scallops.
Our sincerest appreciation for Tec Petaja for photographing this special evening. With a fine art approach to photography, Tec is a brilliant photographer and we were beyond honored that he could be a part of the evening’s festivities.
From Lynn of Easton Events…When Tec Petaja came to Charlottesville to shoot a wedding for us at Easton we decided that having Tec in town was the perfect opportunity to gather some of the East Coast’s best and brightest photographers to join us for a late summer feast on the verandah at Pippin Hill. This was our way of thanking our photographers for all of their hard work throughout the year and always making us look so good.
